  1. Many parents tend to discourage peanut consumption early on due to the fear of allergies. The fact that studies show that early introduction not just to peanuts, but any supposed ¬®common allergen¬®, means that the very fears we are trying so hard to avoid are actually contributing to the danger which they supposedly contain – a self-fulfilling prophecy. I’m fairly certain that if people were to avoid any one substance for a large portion of their childhood, then a significant number of those people would have an allergic reaction to that substance; even if it is not considered to be an allergen as it stands right now. It is a lack of exposure followed by a sudden, large exposure which causes an allergy; not the other way around.

  2. I don’t believe in that. My mom and I eat peanuts like crazy and we still have tons of allergies. We are basically peanut lovers and yet were allergic to latex, grass and so much more. I feel bad for those who are actually allergic to peanuts its actually such a serious allergy like latex its terrible.
